Authorial expression emerged due to the lack of suitable spiritual songs which the youth could relate to and the need for a more suitable way to accompany masses. Spiritual and music maturing and building have produced a few authors in Otkrivenje who enrich the repertoire with their authorial songs thus increasing their number, mostly setting psalms to music.
