The mere beginning was directed towards two intertwining levels – the work of Youth choir Otkrivenje and the work of the independent group Otkrivenje.

      The basis and the purpose of the first was to prepare for Sunday mass – singing at the parish mass at 11.30am to glorify God with song since the Eucharist is the source of inspiration and overall activity.T

      Rehearsals were held two times a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays for an hour and a half. An hour before the Sunday mass, the choir would gather for some additional tuning. The rehearsals were held more often before performances, commemorative or holiday masses.

     If we leave out Sunday mass singing, the choir had its official debut on Christmas 2000. First concert was held in the newly-build church in Utrina, which had started with its mass celebrations. The choir started touring in the neighbouring parish deaneries at different commemorative events. The need for affirmation and expression soon surpassed the frames of parish work – there was a wish for participation in the festivals of spiritual music which were to promote the choir and its long-existing work. All this, led to the first authorial compositions to be sent to the Uskrs fest.

      Revelation, as a parish youth choir, made its first appearance at the Uskrs fest in 2000, it performed together with Kefa and won second place singing »Peace on Zion«. Group of young singers from the Parish youth choir Otkrivenje sang at the same festival under the name Prior singing »The colours of love«. It was the same group that formed Otkrivenje as one, working on Croatian spiritual cro-sacro music scene. First recordings were made on Croatian Catholic radio after which they performed at the Krapina fest and the Frama fest in Sarajevo. Those performances were the confirmation and stimulation for continued work in the future. In symbiosis with Kefa, in 2002, Otkrivenje recorded a pop song »Of Golden Wings« for the HKR campaign Advent in the new attire. In 2003, Otkrivenje was at the Uskrs fest again with »Pure Heart« sang by Maja Posavec and in 2004, third time in a row, with »Come Jesus«. A month and a half later, the choir was at the Krapina fest 2004 with »You, Lord«.

      Otkrivenje also accompanied a few weddings of its former members, parishioners and other members of the congregation who wanted the choir to fulfil their celebration with song.

      As a parish youth choir, Otkrivenje was singing two years in a row at the eucharistic celebration of the acceptance of lay-brothers to the novitiate of Franciscan secular order , as well as during the temporary and eternal vows being given at the Kaptol. The choir also participated in the preparations of ordaining deacons from the Parish. The Parish youth choir had an opportunity to visit Croatian Grave in Slovakia and our Slovak Croatians.

      The two choirs, mentioned previously, came to a point of temporary consolidation and rebuilding but the end of 2004 brought it all to an end – Adrian Vinković Rangel stopped leading the choir overtaken by Petra Kokeza. The Parish youth choir Otkrivenje does not exist any more while Otkrivenje as a group is being led by Adrian Vinković Rangel gathering some old members as well as new ones.

      Its independent work was caused by the lack of understanding and support within the parish pastoral of St. John the apostle and evangelist parish. This work started in the beginning of 2005, after some re-evaluation – new goals were set, new associates chosen and the nature of the choir's work. Soon after that, »Here I Am, Send Me Away« won the contest of 35th the Way of the Cross Vinkovci-Tordinci-Vukovar, while »Take Me With You« took Otkrivenje to the Uskrs fest. Next were the performances at the Krapina fest with »Who Is Allowed To Dwell« and the Marijafest in Molve with »With the Kindness of Your Heart «.

      During 2006, Otkrivenje somewhat hibernates. It performs in spring on a festival of choires that marked easte festivities in Rečica, the parish of Otkrivenje's dear friend rev. Josipa Karas, and again it reappears on Uskrs fest with "God is Here" and on Marija fest "The Sun of Mercy". With Kefa Otkrivenje visits Mađarevo and their frienda from the Apostols of Peace. Slowly materials for the outcoming CD are prapared and recorded.

      The begining of 2007 Otkrivenje marked by playing on Stepinčeve note (The Notes of Stepinac) a festival of popular christian music dedicated to cardinal Stepinac held in Koprivnica. Then Otkrivenje appeard on two festivals - Uskrs fest with a song "Beautifull Day" and on Maria fest with two new songs "As the sun above the city" and "Just You". In autumn an attempt of retructuring is made by trying to exculpate old membrs of Otkrivenje that formed the initial core of the band.
